Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival at Leh | Leh Palace – Shanti Stupa – Leh Market
Arrive at Leh Kushok Bakula Rinpoche Airport, one of the highest-operated airports in the world, situated at 3,500 meters (11,482 feet) above sea level. During your flight, enjoy breathtaking aerial views of the Himalayan range. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to your hotel for check-in.
Spend the day acclimatizing to the high altitude by resting at the hotel after enjoying welcome tea or coffee. In the evening, visit:
- Leh Palace: A historic 17th-century palace offering panoramic views of Leh and the surrounding mountains.
- Shanti Stupa: A stunning white-domed Buddhist stupa that is a symbol of peace.
- Leh Market: Explore the vibrant local market for souvenirs, handicrafts, and Ladakhi specialties.

Day 2: Excursion to Sham Valley | Leh – Hall of Fame – Gurudwara Pathar Sahab – Magnetic Hill – Sangam Point – Spituk Monastery – Leh
After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive along the Indus River on the Leh-Srinagar Highway. Key attractions include:
- Hall of Fame Museum: A tribute to the Indian Army, showcasing the history, culture, and contributions of Ladakh and the armed forces.
- Gurudwara Patthar Sahib: A serene Gurudwara built in honor of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, believed to have visited this region in the 15th century.

Day 3: Excursion to Pangong Lake (13,930 ft) | Leh – Changla Pass – Tangse – Pangong Lake – Leh
After an early breakfast, drive toward the iconic Pangong Lake via Changla Pass (5,300 meters / 17,586 feet), the third-highest motorable road in the world. En route:
- Stop at Changla Pass for stunning views and photo opportunities.
- Relax at Tangtse Village, a small settlement ideal for refreshments.
- Drive through picturesque villages in the Changthang region.
Arrive at Pangong Lake, famous for its striking colors that change with the sunlight. The lake is 140 km long, with 30% of it in India and the remaining 70% in China. Spend time soaking in the serenity of this high-altitude marvel before driving back to Leh via the same route.

Day 4: Full-Day Monastery Excursion | Leh – Hemis Gompa – Thiksey Monastery – Shey Palace – Sindhu Ghat – Leh
After breakfast, explore the rich Buddhist heritage of Ladakh. Key attractions include:
- Hemis Monastery: The largest monastic institution in Ladakh, belonging to the Drukpa Kagyu lineage of Tibetan Buddhism.
- Thiksey Monastery: A majestic complex built on a hill, showcasing a striking resemblance to the Potala Palace in Lhasa.
- Shey Palace: Once the summer capital of Ladakh, featuring a giant copper Buddha statue.

Day 5: Excursion to Khardung La (18,380 ft) | Leh – Khadungla Top Sightseeing- Leh
After breakfast, drive to Khardung La Pass, the highest motorable road in the world at 5,602 meters (18,380 feet). From the pass, enjoy unparalleled views of:
- The Indus Valley to the south.
- The towering peaks of the Zanskar Range.
- The Karakoram Range to the north.
